What a rollercoaster we have been on! Between the presidential election, the ups and downs of the stock market and the international economic situation, this is certainly a time of, well, uncertainty.
As an established Accounting/Finance search and placement firm, Gardner Resources Group has a history of seeing the trends leading to 'recession' much earlier than the general public. In other words, we hear about impending layoffs and delayed hiring plans much sooner than many other industries become aware that trouble is brewing. What is extremely unusual about today's economic climate is that, to date, we have NOT seen many negative hiring trends with our clients. Not only have we not felt the hardcore effects of a recession, we have actually continued to be involved in searches at all levels of Accounting & Finance. In fact, many of our current positions are newly created opportunities. While understanding this trend is directly at odds with today's headlines, we continue to be very busy recruiting top talent for our clients.
